Dr. Gale is a California-based clinical psychologist (PSY10598) specializes in treating social and emotional problems in individuals with autistic spectrum (ASD); attention deficit (ADD/ADHD); learning problems and developmental delays; oppositional defiance; and spectrum anxiety disorders in both the special needs and general population.

He is certified as a Nonpublic Agency with the California Department of Education, having worked with students as an Independent Educational Evaluator and has trained staff in numerous school districts in California on assessment procedures, data collection, and positive behavior interventions. Dr. Gale is a Regional Center vendor and accepts referrals for his social skills program
LUNCH Groups®) for students and adults (see blogs). Dr. Gale is frequently called upon to perform assessments as part of mediations and disputes and has provided expert testimony across a broad range of special education topics. 

Dr. Gale and his company,
BehaviorTech Solutions, Inc., are approved as a Sponsoring organization through the American Psychological Association and the California Board of Behavioral Science to offer CE credits to psychologists, social workers, and MFTs. Currently the Chair for the California Psychological Association Division VI (Media, Technology, and Communication), Dr. Gale is also the Technology Advisor and a Research Team Member for PENT (Positive Environment, Network of Trainers (http://www.pent.ca.gov), coordinated through the California Diagnostic Centers, Dr. Gale has been one of a select group of facilitators in California for the past several years, assisting in providing state-wide intensive training to school district professionals on functional assessment and behavioral intervention strategies.

Dr. Gale was formerly Chief Psychologist at at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for Inpatient Psychiatry and has been on the clinical and teaching staff at CSMC since 1987. He conducted seminars on Behavior Therapy and Developmental Disabilities for the residents, interns, and fellows in training at the medical center for 14 years. He has previously served as Web Editor for the Association for the Advancement of Behavior Therapy (Now the Association for Behavioral & Cognitive Therapies) and was on the editorial board for the journal Cyberpsychology and Behavior for several years.

Dr. Gale has presented widely and is published on the use of technological enhancements to the assessment and therapy process; he often includes such interventions, as appropriate, in individual and group treatment. His company,
BehaviorTech Solutions, Inc., located in Encino, California, specializes in developing computer and internet-based assessment and intervention applications.

Dr. Gale completed his undergraduate training in psychology at UCLA and received his Master's and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Florida State University. He completed his internship plus advanced training at two Harvard  Medical School training facilities:  Judge Baker Guidance Center and at Boston Children's Hospital, with specialized training at the Developmental Evaluation Clinic.
